We launched the Friends of Heswall Dales five years ago. Our recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) looked at what has been achieved since then (Chair's report) well as reviewing the current state of the rare and varied ecosystem of the Dales (Nature report). You can see both of these in the June Newsletter. (The AGM minutes will be circulated to members shortly.)
What else? - Work in the Dales has now shifted for the summer to path maintenance including tackling the restoration of the "birch steps" at the top of the woodland valley north from Bushway. The recent Green Flag review went well - we'll get the formal results in a few weeks.
