Heswall Dales has been awarded the prestigious "Green Flag" status at our first
attempt - see

This award recognises the quality of the work done at the Dales in the
management of the site and promoting and encouraging its use. It reflects the
efforts of Wirral Council (especially local team manager Luke Bithell and Ranger
Chris Werney), the Dales volunteers and the Dales Friends group. Well done
everyone! We do actually receive a Green Flag and are now looking for the best
place to site the flag-pole!
